Welcome to Council Rock Wrestling Association ...

Welcome to the Council Rock Wrestling Association (CRWA),

a member of the ICWL and host of the Indian Open Wrestling Tournament.

CRWA provides training and competition opportunities for approximately 200 wrestlers.  CRWA is open to athletes in kindergarten through 8
grade with the primary goal of developing wrestlers to eventually compete for the Council Rock North and Council Rock South high school varsity teams.  The CRWA family has a remarkable 50 year history and is extremely proud of the success its wrestlers have achieved in youth wrestling, high school, and beyond.  We look forward to this year’s team members someday becoming the core team members for both Coach Silimperi’s and Coach Vivacqua’s high school teams of the future.

CRWA Team Registration for 2018-2019 will open in the Fall of 2018.

CRWA Alumni @ States & Courier Times Athlete of the Week

Good Morning CRWA Families,

Eventhough our season is over, #4 CR-North Wrestling and #1 CR-South Wrestling is gearing up for States in Hershey this weekend, and features a number of CRWA alumni that will be competing.

One noteable alumni, CR-South's Ben Radner (37-10), a 132lb. senior, is the SE Class AAA #1 seed and has been nominated as  Bucks County Courier Times Week 8 Athlete of the Week.  You can cast your vote here: http://www.buckscountycouriertimes.com/sports/20180307/game-on-week-8-athlete-of-week/1

Ben grew up in the CRWA program & his dad Todd helped grow & build CRWA to what it is today.  Your athletes know Ben as he has been at most of the CRWA practices at CR-South volunteering his personal time by helping coach in the wrestling room throughout our season.  Ben also helped organize the student volunteers at the scoring tables at the Indian Open this past year.  And this past January, when we were short on referees at our ICWL match at CR-South, Todd immediately volunteered to help and was there, dressed in his referee uniform so we could start our league match on-time.

The 2018 PIAA Class AAA Wrestling Championships in Hershey start TODAY (you can get results HERE).  There are a number of CRWA alumni that are competing in 8 of the 14 brackets.  The CR-North & CR-South wrestlers that will be competing or a state title are:

  • 106 lbs.
    • SE-1 Kyle Waterman of CR-South, SO, 41-4
    • SE-5 Kyle Hauserman of CR-North, FR, 37-7
